Dream big.
Building big and building small business will take the same amount of time and bring the same amount of troubles.
It may seem to you that if you do something small, then you are more likely to survive. This is an illusion. According to statistics, less than 5% of small enterprises survive for more than three years. Approximately one-third of companies that receive venture financing are sold with a profit.
You will not be able to find professionals who want to work in your little business “for you.” When you grow internal people up, they will not find any reasons why they should stay in your small business for long.
You, as a founder, can never leave your little business. It will work only as long as you work inside of it. This is a consequence of the previous sentence.
Now, tell me why you should start a small business?
Go ahead, dream bigger.
