Shallow questions

As Business Owners, we often ask the questions I call shallow. They are addressing the symptoms, not the root causes. They are scratching on the surface instead of going into depth.

Here are a few examples:

We ask: How can I get more traffic?

Instead of: How can I improve my conversion rate?

We ask: What should we do to attract the investor?

Instead of: What should we do to start making money?

We ask: How to decrease Customer Aquisition Cost?

Instead of: How to improve retention?

We ask: How can I sell this product?

Instead of: How can I change this product so that it sells?

We ask: How to increase the quality of work of my employees?

Instead of: How to increase employees’ responsibility?

Right question is half the solution.
