Always doing something new
If you, as a Business Owner, want to grow your business, you should always be doing something new.
As soon as something is working, you should package it as a business process and delegate it to others. The successful experiment that you did yesterday should become a boring business process of tomorrow. A process that does not require your attention. And when this happens, you move to a new problem. To find the solution and to turn it into a process again.
With every day that goes, the part of your organization doing the process should grow. While the part of your organization doing experiments should continue with finding solutions for different problems.
Those two parts of the organization should be separated, with different approaches, metrics, and goals. Those two parts are often called “run” and “change”.
Are you doing something you were not doing yesterday?
