Partnering with others.

Business Owners often prefer to work alone on something that brings them money and to look for partners on those initiatives which are not making them money yet.

It would make more sense to do the opposite. Look for partners with whom you can earn a hundred times more on something where you make money today. And work alone, as a pastime or hobby, tinkering on something that currently does not bring any money.
