Devaluation of the journey
Does it sometimes happen that you have been looking for a solution to a difficult problem for a long time and finally find it? You prepare a detailed plan. And now you clearly understand how and what to do.
Then something strange happens. It suddenly gets boring. The steps to the goal are so obvious now. And what’s more, you have taken them several times already. Your hands drop. Your motivation goes away.
This happens because you want to get to the final point. But you are not ready to execute the needed actions. When we devalue the path and exaggerate the result, we most often don’t reach our goal.
You have to learn how to love the journey as well as the destination. Learn to value every step towards your goal. Learn to see the joy in how you get there and not just the result. Learn to enjoy your mistakes and defeats.
