Yes, you raised a few million dollars and I want to see your plan how would you spend them. Please make a list of at least 10 things that you would personally be working on in this case. You´ve got 15 minutes now, start writing.

When he was done, I asked him to take a look at the list and choose the tasks that he could start doing right now, without waiting for those millions. And advised him to concentrate his efforts on those tasks only. Yes, I suggested to stop wasting energy on tasks that were not on that list.
